Trevor Awalt is a Certified Electronics Technologist and worked in the telecommunications industry for over 34 years. Retired in early 2014 currently spending most of my time on Photography.
During the 1980’s and 1990’s I dabbled in film photography with a polaroid and Olympus OM10 SLR. In the early 2000’s, for about 4 years, I used a Kodak digital camera to take pictures of the FHCS Boys Basketball team. In 2007 I became more serious with my photography and spent all my spare time reading about photography and out taking photographs. I purchased my first DSLR in 2010 and shot my first wedding in 2012. I was invited to be one of three judges by the Photographic Guild of Nova Scotia for the Winter National CAPA Wildlife competition in December 2014. I am currently an active member of the Bridgewater Photographic Society (past chairperson for the competition committee, and web master) , Sackville Photo club, and the Nova Scotia Bird Society.
